Kathy Kwon was the former Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Bench from 2020 to 2023. Kathy is a systems change strategist with a passion for dismantling oppressive systems and building more equitable ones. Kwon's background in engineering and music has given her a unique blend of pragmatic and sociable characteristics. She has over ten years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, strategic operations, organizational design and onboarding training, and financial and operational support for start-ups and growth-stage companies. Kathy holds a Master of Divinity from Regent College, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
