Vancouver, Canada - February 15, 2018 - Bench (www.bench.co), America’s largest bookkeeping service for small businesses, announced today a new integration with Square’s commerce platform. Through Bench’s app, Square sellers will not only get organized, tax-ready financials but also have them displayed in a way that’s easy to understand and make informed decisions against. This integration is available starting today in the Square App Marketplace.

“Back office services should run in the background without distracting small business owners," says Ian Crosby, Co-founder and CEO of Bench. "For that reason, we’ve focused on making sure that we work well with the other great services our customers are using, like Square. That allows us to provide a customer experience that is the best in the world at every aspect of accounting while empowering our clients to focus on what matters most - the success of their business.”

Small business owners across the United States can now instantly transfer Square merchant data directly to their Bench account, eliminating the need to send separate reports to their bookkeepers. This will take the guesswork out of getting paid, tracking revenue, and making informed financial decisions critical to a successful tax season and the long-term growth of their business.

“As the Square App Marketplace continues to grow, we’re proud to welcome innovative solutions like Bench that help sellers simplify their operations,” says Pankaj Bengani, Partnership Lead at Square. “By integrating Bench with Square, sellers can automatically pull financial data directly into the Bench app, to seamlessly reconcile their transaction data.”

In an ongoing effort to better support small business owners in their entrepreneurial pursuits, Bench is offering Square customers who are new to the bookkeeping service a 20% discount on their first 6 months of service.
