Bench announced today that for the second consecutive year, it has ranked among the top 30 fastest growing technology companies in North America. Bench placed 7th on the Deloitte Fast 50™ for Canada, and 28th on the Technology Fast 500™ list for North America.

The Deloitte lists honor technology companies with the highest four-year revenue growth—Bench saw 4,373% revenue growth over this period. Bench CEO Ian Crosby attributes the growth to Bench’s unique approach to people-powered automation.

“Bench is a team of 300 people solving a long-standing, universal pain point for business owners: bookkeeping. Whether it’s the people who work here or use our product, people are everything at Bench and that’s really the key to how we’ve been able to grow so fast,” says Crosby.

“Our goal is to make understanding finances simple, effortless, and affordable for everyone. Automation allows us to do just that. It empowers our bookkeepers to be more efficient in their work, which allows us to create the most affordable service possible.”

“Congratulations to the Deloitte 2018 Technology Fast 500 winners on this impressive achievement,” said Sandra Shirai, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader. “These companies are innovators who have converted their disruptive ideas into products, services and experiences that can captivate new customers and drive remarkable growth.”
